Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Service Technician to join our team in Goa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical services, attending service calls across the state, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and Maintenance: Attend service calls promptly and provide efficient maintenance and repairs for [equipment/products].
- Spare Parts Management: Identify and generate requirements for spare parts, ensuring timely procurement to meet client needs.
- Sales and Upselling: Promote and sell spare parts, accessories, and relevant services to clients during service visits.
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC): Maximize the acquisition of AMCs by providing outstanding service and recommending AMCs to clients.
- Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering excellent customer service and technical support.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel across the entire Goa state & Sindhudurg district to attend service calls as per the schedule.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts sold.
- On-the-Job Learning: Stay updated on the latest technologies, products, and services related to the job.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum ITI/ Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in a service technician role. Experience in handling customer service and technical troubleshooting is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to generate sales leads and upsell spare parts and services.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to work across the state of Goa & Sindhudurg district and handle traveling requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of service contract management is a plus.
